What can you do for others?

Since we’re approaching the end of the week, it’s time for a small reflection. Channel your inner Esther Perel and ask yourself:

🤔 What have I done this week to make things better for my colleagues? 🤔

Why is this important?

I encounter leaders that tend to get frustrated with the people around them. “Why are they not doing this for ME? Why do I have to CHASE my team for an update?”

→ By incorporating this small reflection in your routine, you can slowly shift your thinking into proactive acting. Instead, of YOU → ME, start thinking in I → YOU. Followed by the questions:

What can I do for you? What could this person need at the moment? Where can I help?

It seems simple, but it is a small practical way to start thinking ABOUT your team members colleagues, clients, company in a more thoughtful way. Also, it decreases your frustration because you are increasing your feeling of agency (=one of the intrinsic motivation superchargers 🚀).
